About Kind Mums

Born from our own journeys of resilience and rediscovery, KindMums is a safe space where mums can find the resources, support, and inspiration to embrace their unique paths with strength and compassion.

Our Objective

We Are Here to Empower Mums

KindMums.com was developed to provide a supportive hub for mothers, particularly working mums and first-time mums, to explore the practical benefits of mindfulness. Our mission is to help mothers reclaim their sense of agency, balance their roles, and foster mental well-being through accessible, relatable content and resources tailored to their needs.

Meet Aissa

“Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” — Christopher Robin.

Hi, I’m Aissa—a recovering overthinker, an expectant IVF mum, and mother to a spirited toddler named Awan. I juggle multiple roles as a legal counsel, an NGO founder, and a doctoral student, but like many mums, motherhood has been my most transformative journey. I first turned to mindfulness during a difficult IVF process, struggling with uncertainty and isolation. Later, as a new mum, I felt overwhelmed by postpartum blues, guilt, and the pressure to “do it all.” Even with support, I often felt like I was falling short—at home, at work, and within myself. Mindfulness became my anchor. Through simple daily practices, I learned to step out of survival mode, be present with my daughter, and quiet the self-doubt that once consumed me. It helped me reclaim my sense of self, manage stress, and navigate the chaos of motherhood with more clarity and compassion. Now, as a trained mindfulness facilitator, I’ve completed teacher training programs with the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation and the Mindfulness in Schools Project, UK—two of the most respected institutions in the field. I want to share these tools with other mums because I know how easy it is to put ourselves last. KindMums was born out of this mission: to give mums a safe space to pause, reflect, and find balance, even in the busiest seasons of life.
